ATI X1900XT vista RC1 help!!

Hi guys,

Installed Vista RC1 all ok until I installed ATI RC1 beta drivers, now the screen flickers every couple of seconds?? Done fresh install and no joy, my spec is in sig, are there any other drivers I could try????

Any help would be fantastic as I love the look of this OS but can't stick with it if it flicks like this 24/7

Well I sorted the issue out by going into device manager, right clicking the X1900XT and updating driver, which it did and all is well

Went to microsoft as soon as I build the machine but it didn't pick that update up??

Oh well I'm happy!!

Same thing happened to me when I tried installing the nvidia vista beta 2 drivers on RC-1.....i just removed them and switched back to the microsoft drivers and it's all fine and dandy.

What I expect is no flickering at all really? Least of all on desktop? Didn't say I had any game flicker?

It's not a well known issue, which is why I ask for advice, thanks for your help
