That kicks bum, I hope you're going to keep it updated every so often for the lazy amongst us. :p

I should also point out a slight error; "could hit XT-X speeds" is a huge understatement. ;)

I will try my best to update it every Thursday after the special offers have been set.

If anyone wants anymore info about the cards, let me know and i'll update as seen fit.

Ace. Now I have two pages on this site to check every Thursday. :D

If you're taking suggestions, I think it'd also be swell to have Crossfire Edition cards on there. :)

Just glad to help out. :p

The CF cards available are the same price as the slave cards, so i just added the notes where appropriate.

Yeah man, let me know what you need if ever you do so feel inclined.

Really only need to edit the thread title to, "ATi/nV Price Comparisons."

Mods, would you be so kind. Can't seem to do it my end.

Nice work there, you could say spec comparison is a bit pointless but hey.

imo, add things like rops, vertex, also change the comments to be a bit more helpful to n00bs :)

Slightly OT, X1800XT has 16 pixel shaders whereas x1900XT has 48. Yet the difference between the cards is rather small?

Someone enlighten me :)

The difference is much bigger when you put a Core 2 Duo in there and OC it to the max. ;)

That's cus they both only have 16 pipelines which has a greater impact on performance than pixel processors.

Good work but could the OP edit to either include the number of pipelines or get rid or the bit that says pipes as it's a bit misleading. :)

Sorted, although i can't really see how i can noob the comments up anymore, so feel free.

Uni has started up and i won't have enough spare time to do this every week. Anyone feel free to update this.

HIS ATI Radeon X1900 XT ICEQ 3 SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-061-HT) £188.

This one a good deal for a folding gpu?
Does having 256 memory significantly hurt performance?

BTW.....Nice chart :D

Just noticed the 512mb X1800XT is down to £205. Is someone still updating the table?

I believe OCUK should drop the X1800XT 512mb to the price of to the coming his X1900XT 256mb, ie. £188.

That would give the consumers the choice of Super High-End 256mb or High-End 512mb. I realise OCUK have a limit as to how low they would like to go on the X1800XT since they probably where expensive to stock. However, in this business you can't always make a profit.
It is a balancing act of shifting stock to make funds available for new stock :)

How many 512mb X1800XT's are left in stock? 5? 10? 20? I say sell them for £165 inc vat and they will be gone in a week :)

I think I need a coffe, I'm posting random gfx cards theories in my robe on a saturday morning... WHAT HAPPENED TO ME? :p
