I cleaned my sisters pc out a week ago and now suddenly won't boot.
P4 3.6ghz
1gb ram
X600 pcie
400w generic psu
I was asked to format the pc for her as the pc was virus ridden.
Whe I got the computer I noticed the cpu fan was running at full pelt (very loud) so I though I would give it a clean out and put some fresh paste on the cpu.
After cleaning it all out I cleaned decided to clean out the gfx card aswell soI put some fresh paste on and gave it a dust down, I then formated the pc and every thing run fine for about a week, now the pc won't boot!!
I opened up the pc to see what's going on, when I switch it on the cpu fan spins, the hard drive starts up but the gfx card fan doesn't spin. This results in no signal to he monitor, Is it safe to say it's the issue?
Unfortunetley I don't have a spare one to try in it's place so I will have a look on MM for something around the same spec.
So what would be on par with a X600 256mb and cheap
