why are these cards so cheap? when they overclock like mad?

if i got 1 would it play latest games ok?#

Oops thought you meant the x1800gto, if your on about the PCI-E one, for an extra £6 you could get the Sapphire x800 GT02, and mod it to an x850 XT PE, would still be a good card today, as an x850 XT PE it would run the likes of Fear/CoD2 perfectly fine, from reviews ive seen it wallops the BFG 7800 GS thats been overclocked in those games (x850 XT PE). :)
