had it, was great in Agp but as Hamoodii said it doesnt have S3=no hdr. Although i did play company of heroes with a fair amount of eye candy on it.
 
HDR will work on the Source engine, but that's it.

As to SM3, how much weight you ascribe to that is up to you: it didn't seem to benefit the Nvidia 6800 series much in Far Cry...

It's a pretty old-fashioned bruiser of a card (by today's standards) but it will be fine with a lot up to 1280x1024 and some eye-candy, depending on your CPU. To be honest, if you have a Athlon 64 on an AGP motherboard, you may do well to get a 1950Pro...
 
Ahh well, I've got a choice between this card or a 8800GTS and Im sure I'd know what most of you would say..
