I am thinking of getting a cheap Laptop for basically Univeristy work which will be just Office tasks like looking on the Internet, Word processing and creating PowerPoint Presentations.
I would also like it to play Call of Duty 2.

I know I would have to play it on low settings anyway, but should a ATI xPress 1150 graphics processor in the Laptop be substancial enough to play Call of Duty 2?]
