LoadsaMoney said:Yup 7950 is 2x GPU's on one card, its 2x 7900's, this is ATi's counter, 2x of their GPU's on one card, but they can only use mid range like x1600's as said, as the x1800's etc... have huge cooling etc...
See, this man knows the score.locutus12 said:lol, thats not one card, its 2 X 7900 bolted together using a connector bridge and channel to push the extra info through 1 PCI-E socket, its basically "poor mans SLI" a nice gimmick to get 2 Nvidia boards into single PCI-E systems![]()
I'd have the same problem, I had to move my HDDs just so that I could use my X1800XT. I thought this was huge, but that "Gemini" card just takes the cake.mrbios said:haha that cards so long that i think if i wanted to use that id have to remove the HDD bay from my case and put my hdds in the floppy drive bays, theres only a small gap as it is
believe me, the wavemaster has no existant airflow the olny real air im getting is from the blowhoel which i have set to blow inwards and the main issue is the back of the card, the backs get hot and its close to the cpuGerard said:Don't see why not seeing as the card dumps the heat out the back of the case.![]()
