ATITool works with 3850 / 3870 right?

The reason I ask is that when I run ATITool, it shows the system tray icon, but I cannot open the window at all.

Is ATI Tray Tools a better option for clocking? (I've previously used both - ATITool for clocking and ATI Tray Tools for tweaking.) If it makes a difference, I am running the ATI drivers only, no CCC (or CCP or whatever it's called!)

Your CPU usage will probably be locked at 50% as well (1 core at full utilization).

I think it's because the version you are using is incompatible. Try this one http://www.techpowerup.com/wizzard/ATITool_0.27b3.exe. Don't try this if you're using Vista 64bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
