Atmos in MKV?

Is it possible to get bluray encodes with atmos soundtrack with MKV yet?

Can anything actually play them back?

Depends where you're sourcing these "encodes"

I make my own remuxes and I retain the Atmos track with no issues. So yes it's most definitely possible.

I bitstream from MPC-HC to my receiver so playback isn't an issue (not that I have any Atmos speakers to make use of the extra data!)

A quick google - looks like a bit of a faff but it can be done. Can't be certain as I don't have an Atmos setup to try it, I don't plan on upgrading to add this feature to my setup either.
