Atomos Ninja2 HDMI sound issue

Hi,
I have an Atomos Ninja 2, and I connected it to my laptop via HDMI and I can monitor sound and video and record it perfectly but no sound is recording.. I have the HDMI audio channels selected for recording but it doesn't record audio to the files.

If i connect a seperate audio in using a 3.5mm jack it can record that.

It has the latest Ninja2 firmware.

Any ideas ?

my laptop is yeah, I can see the audio bars and hear it out of the headphone jack
