Does anybody have any suggestions on what could be used to attach polythene sheeting (think dust sheet) to rough bare brick? The sheeting is being used to mask a large area.

So far standard duct tape and Gorilla tape have been unsuccessful.

Any recommendations, ideas or thoughts?

If duct type won't stick then you're probably a bit stuck(or not) unless there's a specialist tape for this sort of thing which wouldn't surprised me but then I bet it's not cheap.

I'd have thought stick a patch of duct tape on in various places and nail through those places would hold it well enough against all but the most extreme weather. (EDIT: Getting a seal around the edges could be a bit harder - depending on size maybe a wooden frame?).

Wooden frame! That's a good idea.

Doesn't have to be a perfect seal i.e. liquid sealed, just enough to stop a majority of dust and debris.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!
