Morning all!
I have an old PowerBook G4 which died when I decided a running kick to the screen was a good idea
The internals are fine but the screen is useless.
I have just acquired an old Alienware Area 51. Unsure of the spec. Apparently the screen works fine and it will turn on, but overheats very quickly as a drink was spilled on it years ago.
I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this... Can I make a working laptop by putting the PowerBook internals in the G4, making some kind of awesome hybrid?
Also can someone tell me which model this is? It says Area 51 but I assume there are LOADS of variants?
