Did anyone watch this? It was fascinating how they managed to get the fossil of Pliosaur skull so intact.

It is absolutely huge, was the Apex predator of the ocean back then it's bite two times more powerful then a great white shark.

I love how they dug it out of the cliff took so long incredible work.

I thought it was really good. Well presented and didn't gloss over the science. Still a few too many comparisons to T. rex but that's a trope at this point so not unexpected.
What are we going to do when Sir David passes on?

Caught this by accident and enjoyed it.
Was a bit dubious of the Heath Robinson way of extracting the skull.
Love Attenborough series but don't usually watch the cgi stuff but luckily this had none of that.

Went to Kimmeridge earlier this week to see the fossil, very impressive find and the whole collection is worth a visit if this sort of thing interests you.

There's a bit of a backlash towards the BBC though for failing to name the chap who actually found the first part of it.

Link below to an interview with him that didn't make it into the documentary.
