I have been tasked with turning our rubbish holiday planner / sick record thingy into a fancypants 2016 model. Thing is, I'm completely useless with Excel so I'm wondering if there's a template or something I can use?

Our current one looks like this (I have added a smiley for dramatic effect) and each employee has their own tab.

Does something like this exist or should I hire a man?

We have a spreadsheet, list of names down the left side, days on the top and update it when we need too, so everyone is in 1 sheet which can be filtered on.
 
That spreadsheet is 'triggering' me. :mad:

I'm fidgeting at my desk just looking at varying those column widths. That and the fact the colour in the key for Bank Holidays is different from the actual calendar.

Edit: Oh God I just noticed the bottom left with it's different font for 'Total Holidays Remaining' and the centred 'Holiday Entitlement'.

Just kill it with fire! :eek:
