Attention F@H Beta Testers

Meh, it's probably the same for both. It won't be using 64-bit integers becasue most of the heavy lifting is done through SSE 64-bit floats.

Dude,

I might add you via msn... any ideas how to get my wireless card working with linux? I would really appriciate the help :)

Initial results (one frame done, million other processes running)

Core Duo 1.66: 751 PPD (1440 pts, 27m 37s/frame)

I'm getting more than that (781ppd) with just the 2606 I'm crunching at present, plus the 3039 (220ppd) that 1000ppd on my [email protected] with two standard clients.

Ok if I had 2 3039's it's a different story but some more fig's would be nice, shair with the group :D

As part of the beta team you are NOT to disclose ANY information or knowledge of ANYTHING regarding the beta WUs to ANYONE or instructions on how to get any of the above.

Recruiting for the beta team is allowed as long as you make sure that:

* They know and agree to the requirements for beta team.
* You DO NOT discuss anything in your team forum other than the basic recruitment speech.
* Any help that they need they are to come to this forum to get. Please do not help them in your forum, by PM, IM, AIM, ICQ, or any others as we need them to come here and get comfortable with the group and posting here.

BAD people BAD!!!

Seriously, what's been said? It's been blatently obvious for weeks that this has been in the pipes - it's hardly a surprise. Some of the guys here have been on the beta testing team for ages. They hardly need the rules quoted at them.

nah he's quite right - I said way too much according to those rules (plus broke OcUK forum rules too in promoting a seperate forum no doubt) but it was such good news I couldn't keep it to myself :p

I hadn't checked the folding forum for a while and figured others may miss the announcement and want to be involved in testing that they'd already signed up for previously.

They seem to have forgotten.

Not sure I see too much of a problem. Rules may be rules but we're not telling anybody how to get beta WUs, beyond going through the standard sign-up procedure...

well I didn't see too much of a problem either but I've had a couple of messages over there relating to it - I guess it's not up to us to decide what is or isn't alright to tell people so until there's an official public announcement I won't be mentioning it outside of the official forum

I've also asked for this thread to be deleted - hope nobody is put out by that, though how long it takes slacky to get to it is a different matter of course :o :p

Can any of the beta testers please email me/Add me to MSN.. if that isnt against the rules.

Email or MSN in sig. Thanks. :)

I added you to MSN. Rich is on MSN too, and he can probably answer your questions if I can't.

// Too fast, Rich :(
