yeah and its come at a bad time as i was hoping to post my new tiffy but now can't get hold of it.

Hosting issue. My server (which hosts the data) is fine, but the web server (which I don't own) seems to have a problem contacting it.

As soon as I can get hold of that server's owner, I'll have a word.

Edit: site down awaiting support.
