i'm pleased to say i've moved on from the single-machine crunchine world of FAH... a friend has blessed Mikebert4 with his quad-core opty 270 machine

(plus my little P2 farm, and his little P2 farm, and school, uni, work, NASA, and the united Arab Emerates... well.. almost )

we've yet to properly OC the cores... but i've heard stories of 3Ghz per core..


don't worry, i'll prime test it to stable before I start folding with 4 OC'ed cores

can't wait to see my scores start to clime

Dual opteron board?

Unless its the msi, fat chance of any oc, not that you need to anyway...

three guesses what board it is


the MSI is the only one with even close to decent OC options, so I advised my mate bought that.

Probs this wednesday or thursday i'll get down to some serious fiddling and see what we can OC it to.

I'm speccing him a couple of WC loops as well... gotta cool this beast well
