Grr. Server's lost it's disks again.

Guess I'm going to have to rehome everything. Really didn't want to.

Paypal link will have to be added too. The 'rehoming' adds 30% to the cost and I can ill afford the existing cost already.
 
I need to boot all the Team OcUK data (well over 100GB worth) off of one server and on to a new one. While I can do that at the same price as the existing one, I'm fed up with nannying around with servers and I'm going to get something I know to be reliable (if I can afford so to do).
 
I was perusing teamocuk about 10 minutes ago and all looked fine.

Where exactly was the error? Or did you fix it already Mr Berserker Sah :)

Thing is it's a recurring error, which may/may not lead to Total Destruction :(
 
Yup. All it takes is for it to eat one of the databases, and bye bye team ocuk (they're too big to take regular backups from).

Can't you do Incremental backups ... that only backup changes / new data? Would be really bad to loose the whole DB.

Maybe we could all chip in and buy a big ole SATA RAID-5 setup for you.
 
There's ~400GB in that server. And no, I can't do incrementals on that data either. :(

Still, the last proper backup was in June, so I did do a newer one. :)
