ATTO Benchmark from within a VM (esxi connected to a lefthand SAN)

Setup is a 4 node esxi 4.1 cluster attaching to a shared VMFS volume on our lefthand cluster (8 nodes, 4GB iscsi connection)

To test our new esxi cluster storage, I'm running ATTO from within a VM.

I'm seeing some crappy results, typically 35MB/s read and 80MB/s write.

Does anyone else have an esxi/lefthand combo?
