ATV2 XBMC crashing

For some reason its crashing during video playback. Now ive not changed anything, so iam not sure why ive suddenly got a problem. The problems arises with both 720 mkv files and .avi's.

Whats the best way to debug on these?

On a side note the MTV add-on popped up with a message saying there was a problem, but I just disabled it.

I had some problems when I updated to 4.3. What version of iOS are you on?

I would upgrade to 4.3.3 if you have the SHSH with season pass

Then install the latest build of Xbmc with the build in package manager.

Iam on the latest build mate, AppleTV2,1_4.3_8F305_Restore.ipsw the firmware on PC/Mac has a differant version number to the ATV2 display on your actual TV. Odd I know.

Can you tell me how to update XBMC? Is it via terminal? Also whats the build in manager?

I used the nitrotv built in manager to install, it looks something like this:

Otherwise you will have to ssh in and use apt (instructions here)
