Atx 3.0 backwards compatibility.

The backwards compatibility is not a problem, but one thing to keep in mind is that the 12VHWPR (or the updated 12V2x6) take up a lot of space on the modular board which means you tend to get less PCI-E 8 pin ports which can be an issue with a card like the 7900 XTX.

I have ordered the atx 3 psu my gpu only has 1 x 8 pin so I should be OK.
I still have my current seasonic and that's about 11 years old so if I'm going to keep it that long I might as well have something that's a little more future proof. The standard version was about £30 cheaper.
