I've seen that a few manufacturers have announced ATX 3.1 PSUs at CES and otherwise, had anyone seen/heard anything about availability?

I'll be replacing my aging PSU soon owing to fan noise, despite a good near 10 years of service!

My GPU doesn't require 12VHPWR but I want a new PSU to support ATX 3.1 (and 12V2x6) for when I eventually do get a new GPU.

Not much talk about but from what I can find availability appeared to be anticipated around now/Q1.

Hi all, I was wondering what's the best psu option for the upcoming 5090 which is supposed to have 2x 600W power inputs, I don't see many PSU options with a dual 600W output apart from the new NZXT 1500w platinum psu, does that mean we need a dual output psu for the gpu or do think there will be a single output 600W to dual connectivity into the gpu?

The leak suggests a 600W card (not 2 x 600w). But we dont know what the wattage specifically relates to.

Its seems highly unlikely the card will draw 600W given the cooling that would require.

I suspect any decent PSU of 1000W or above will be fine (depending on the configuration of the rest of your system)
