atx and micro atx

If I buy a case that states its form factor as atx would I be right that I can stick a micro atx m/b in, It's for my daughter and have got a cheap bundle for free off a friend the m/b is a Asus A7N8X-vm ? :confused:

yes matx will fit in an atx case

It depends which case. Most do fit them, but some don't have the holes for it. A drill will quickly sort that out though.

does the case come with stangoffs or is it the m/b its been a while since I bought a full build

the case will come with everything you need to install your hardware into it including M/B standoffs
Its the I/O shield that usually comes with the mobo
