Atx itx matx?

upgrade time soon and I am
Liking the idea of a plain black itx case but a friend has told me they are harder to keep clean and not ideal for the likes of a Vega 56 or a 64 graphic cards? How true is this plz
 
so atx is the case size to go for if I want to keep my options open on all graphic cards that’s available and not be limited on what I choose within reason?
 
Never new exactly what a matx was but after googling matx cases and quickly googling am4 matx motherboards my options are endless on what spec components I can have, graphic cards options is a lot better and maybe it will work out a little cheaper than buying and building a itx gaming system and being limited on what itx mini graphic cards there are...
So in order of size itx is the smallest, matx then atx being the largest..
Good little learning curve and great advice and now my options has broaden ty

I’ve failed to find msi X470 mortar, must be 450 mortar....
Want to try and get best motherboard matx for the new gen Ryzen cpu, either 3600x or Ryzen 3700x...

The options of itx matx cases is huge and I can see it’s going to take me a while to read up on dimensions as I want a smaller case but not be governed by having to buy smaller graphic cards as and when I upgrade...
The bitfenix prodigy is a really nice style and I also like the Corsair 280x. But with out the bright lights on these fans..
Seems like I have time as the new ryzens cpu have a few teething problems regarding bios and supply and demand....
It’s worrying as Tamzy has said that the best am4 small form motherboard is infact a itx not matx..
I’ve atill got to google sata ports as I don’t understand what that term means, I know that mb in itx form lose a lot of features but matx is not so bad...
 
Can a itx motherboard be installed in a matx case just as easy as a matx MB?
Msi b450i is only lacking in 2 extra slots for ram and pci xi slot for a extra graphic card only?
From looking at the specs this motherboard pack a lot of features and be ideal for gaming multi media set up

I kinda like the Phanteks Enthoo evolve case but looking at the silverstone raven this is like PS4 type of case, nice and slim and compact and with room to house a top end card it’s a win win for me apart from
Multi RGB lighting.....
My plan is to build small form pc with a basic Ryzen 3600 with descent graphic card that might outlast the cpu depending how
Often I’m allowed to game on it...
it’s A Waiting game regarding these cpu as there still no final bios update that iron out these problems regarding these new cpu
