ATX Mobo with ATX2.2 PSU?

Hi all,

My PSU just died on me (it's a fairly old one, in fact everything in my PC is 2-4 years old).

My motherboard is an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe (ATX - quite old now).

I'm looking at PSUs and something which is futureproof seems a good idea...

A lot of you guys are recommending this one.

Will this definitely connect to my old mobo?

Will I encounter any other problems? I have an old Maxtor IDE drive. Everything else should be fine...

Please reply ASAP, I am without my beloved PC without a new PSU

The 520watt version would be a better choice.

Just built up my old asus P4C800-E rig today in antec solo for my parents

although I am using my old 400W nexus PSU, however I have the corsair 520W and recommend it. I think perhaps you might need an adapter for the 24pin to the 20 pin?

the extra 4pins next to the 20 can be split off the 24pin to use it on 20pin mobos.
