Was wondering what are the differences in the ATX and the micro ATX versions of the new ASUS Sandy Bridge boards other than size??

Does the micro ATX boards have less functions etc.

Thanks

The mATX boards can still retain most of the same functions, exept you are les likely to find sli/xfire on a mATX board, however there are some that can do this. So essentially if you find the right mATX board it is possible to have all the same functions on a smaller size.

is an example of an sli board

has 5 x sataIII ports

is a sandy example

Not sure on OC ability, i would reccomend searching review sites for a mATX board review.

Also in terms of sli/xfire the full ATX boards can have more spacing between the gfx card slots for better airflow.

more editing :)

in terms of the asus pro board i posted and its full size brother there are a few less connectivity ports on the mATX, like slightly less sata and esata ports, and no front usb3 header connection etc.
