ATX2 Power supplies?

Hi all,

Are the power supplies that are now being sold backwards compatible with ATX 1.1 motherboards?

I wanted to buy this PSU:

And I have an old Socket 939 AMD Motherboard MSI K8N-Neo4 Platinum.

Yes, the extra 4 pins on the main connector are removable.
