My dad has a T reg Audi, and the Engine Managemant light has come on, and it chugs when it gets to about 70mph. We have got a computer for it but cant find where it plugs in... Any ideas guys? Also any idea what the problem could be??

Well that failed the computer thing kept saying "connection failed". But apparntly theres 2 computers, a "A" and a "B", we need the other computer.

Been looking on the net and when the Engine Managemant light comes on, its useually the coil pack needs replacing, but would this cause the acceleration to be chuggy when it gets to about 70mph like its running out of fuel?

A bulb going pop won't put the Engine Managemant light on, must have been something else, reason it now runs better is the actual fault code has gone, i'd wait to see if it comes back.

Well dad took it to the garage, he didnt say about the Engine Managemant light , fool I know.
Long story with the bulb... The brake bulb went a few weeks back, he bought a bulb but it was the wrong one, so he swaped the reverse bulb into the brake, and we noticed that the fog light had gone aswel. Anyway a few days later 1 of the side lights were on all the time and when you opened the door the headlight beep thing beeped aswel. Anyway we never did anything about it.. Then when my sis was driving iin the dark, everytime she broke the Engine Managemant light came on and felt sluggish apparntly.

So today the guy replaced the bulbs and took it for a thrash up the road and said its fine. The guy connected up the computer and checked for faults aswel and turned off the airbag light. So I dont know, but dad say its driving fine again now. The airbag light has come back on tho, is there anyway to get the light to stay off without taking out the bulb?

edit: I know my english is rubbish, sorry.:D

Yes, work out what is wrong with the airbag for it to be throwing a fault. It's warning you there is something wrong with a vital piece of safety equipment, removing the bulb isn't the cure.
As for the bulb causing the car to run sluggish? I'd suggest taking it to a VAG specialist, or at least someone who knows about that platform as it sounds like the mechanic is either a little on the clueless side, or isn't giving the full story.

You've likely got a blockage in the plenum area under the bonnet, this is causing water to enter the cabin, collect under the front passenger seat and begin to ruin the convenience module that sits under there, get the carpets up and check the sound deadening isn't full of water.

IF the CCM goes it's £££'s as by that time the wiring has corroded away too.

Check under the battery and behind the servo, there are drain plugs there that will be blocked up with all sorts of ming. Also check the seal on the pollen filter housing, that can leak too.

Your referring to the airbag? Like its just come on these last few weeks, and appantly when the light comes on, the airbag gets totally disabled:(
