Hi,
Has anyone had any issues with an Audi MMI losing the connection with Android Auto?
It will connect up OK and work fine for several days then next day it fails to connect unless I reboot the MMI.
I have tried it with two different model mobiles phones (Samsung and Sony) and it happens with both of them.
The phone itself connects to the MMI as contacts and messages are all visible, it just wont allow connection to apps such as Waze or Google Maps and will not display the app icons on the MMI.
I have tried both bluetooth and USB cable connections with both phones, same result, once the Android Auto connection is lost it stays lost until the MMI is rebooted.
I suppose I could go to Audi and ask if there is an MMI update in the hope that might fix it. To the best of my knowledge, the MMI firmware is not an OTA update, it needs an Audi dealership to update it?
