Aye - I've had a car with electrical gremlins before and I really don't want to face into it with a brand new car that is meant for doing long journeys to rural locations!

Audi, so far have suggested it's just a teething issue and likely sort itself out... the AA guys weren't so sure given they couldn't clear the faults for more than about 10 seconds at a time. They won't give me a replacement vehicle so back to trying cancel the lease agreement which is great fun

Update for anyone with a vague interest....

Car got returned to an Audi dealer - VWFS finally agreed to reject the car, cancel the lease and refund everything after I found the CEO's email address on pistonheads!

Not an ideal scenario and now looking for another new car, probably staying away from VAG cars for now!
