Nice

Why no badge delete option?

I'm surprised Hill Hold Assist is still an option, but looking at the Audi site there are loads of basic features that remain options, like standard cruise control.
Dynamic Pack Plus increases the top speed by 25mph.... only £1k

I wonder why they put 'Audi' in some of the option names?

AUDI HOLD ASSIST

Guess it's good to know it hasn't got Vauxhall Hold Assist.

Probably the same reason BMW nomenclature includes gems such as "BMW Professional".

Audio and Nav stuff just seems different to AUDI HILL HOLD ASSIST but I'm sure why. It's just as silly I guess. I just don't understand what the 'Audi' in the name of that option is for? Seems very strange. Why not just call it 'Hill Hold Assist'?

Better still why not just stop charging for a feature that every other manufacturer gives away for free even on crap stuff? :p

Brand reinforcement or something like that probably. I agree, it is silly though. It isn't like you can specify another brand alternative.

Because it is part of the business model and people keep paying extra for it.

I guess if Porsche can get away with charging people extra for cruise, a rear wiper and hill hold on a £142k 911 Turbo S then so can Audi.

Yea the dynamic pack plus is a total rip off. Who on earth would spend that on a car destined for the uk. More so you can circumvent it anyway as it only works in top gear.

Lol

Those who want that sleeper look.

It's pretty stealthy anyway, isn't it? To the untrained eye, it doesn't look much different from an A3. If someone isn't that into cars, the RS badge isn't going to mean anything to them anyway. The speed you pull away from the traffic lights with will.

Anyway, by my understanding, it's not that difficult to remove the badge yourself if you want to go more stealthy in the future. At least if you keep the badge, you have the option.

Not normal on a 55 plate car, no. I had a 2006 A3 that got a fair amount of bashing through business use and the occasional off road 'expedition' up north. The paint work was flawless other than the few expected stone chips.

£120 isn't bad for the whole rear end of the car with a main dealer.

Whoops, didn't realise someone had replied. After looking online it isn't as much of a re-spray as I had thought, they hide the panel edges very well!

Even so, I still decided it was probably best to go with Audi for the 3 year warranty and the use of a curtesy car for the week. (Got a '15 plate diesel A1 - bit girly!)

Typical. My A6 doesn't have ISOFIX as standard

A metal bar and 2 screws from Audi: £50. Scandalous how a £30k+ car built in 2010 didn't come with ISOFIX as standard.
