Audi owners in here!

Well I did ask for the full spec, and got a massive additional information of "6 gear".

Guy clearly wants "an car", so it's likely that any "help" will be ignored anyway.

Just ordered an S5 Black Edition in Speng Blue / Black Leather. Other than the paint it's the standard spec, MMI, B&O and the other usual Black Ed additions.

I know it's about to be replaced but I got a good deal on it, imo anyway. The car will be leased and will cost about £11k over the two years.

Seemed like a nice upgrade from my M135i that's just gone back. It'll be my first Audi so I'm looking forward to it.

Rather than start a new thread I'll ask here: what's the point of the new A3 Saloon?

Have been given one while my A6 is in for a service - my first reactions were my this is small, but then it's an A3 :p
However, it's roughly the same size as the original A4, but then that had much less safety and stuff.

It's a small saloon - they serve a purpose.

It is the 1.4T 125PS

it is also blue colour.

How does buying from a broker work?

It tells you everything you need to know on the broadspeed site I linked to. They put you in contact with a dealer that will provide it for that price. Alternatively you can just use it to negotiate with your local dealer, I've had a 100% success rate in getting dealers to price match online prices, they are pretty used to it now

I strongly suggest that you do some real homework on car buying before spending £20k on a car, also take a look at the likes of carwow, drivethedeal and the which website guide price for your model.

Hiya.

Yes I have done lots of research already and asked advice from more petrol heads than me.

I'll check out some of those sites but I have my sights firmly set on an audi a3 sports back as I have test drive it.
I have never used a broker though. Are they reliable and safe to use?

It's easily the best looking car out of the whole a3 range, it has a bigger boot than the sb, for those who don't wish carry a washing machine in the back of their car and the chinese and the US market love them. Has a more refined ride as and if you choose the sline it has a lower ride height as well, plus its a exclusive car...

Bigger boot? i doubt it as a saloons boot will always be less practical than a hatch. Its a handsome car though.

Did I not state if you don't feel the need to carry around a washing machine? Of course with a bigger opening of the estate, sorry sportsback, it is more practical however with 425 litres for the saloon and 380 litres under normal use the saloon has a bigger boot. Not all of us need that practicality and follow all the estate, sorry sportback, sorry hatchback, sheep, and want something that looks different.
The saloon also shares no body parts with other A3's and it is wider and longer than the sb meaning there is slightly more room inside...

Lol. I know this is an Audi thread, but come on if you wanted something different, you went for a A3 saloon???Buy buying into the brand alone, you are automatically In sheep mode.

Don't get me wrong, the A3 saloon is a nice car and I'd prob have had one if i was in my 20's, but it's still a fairly dull car.
