Audi owners in here!

I'm all for a dark colour (as they are the most rewarding to clean/polish/wax), but that said, I never felt disheartened with Daytona in the same way I did with my Silver A4.

Go with your gut, Manhattan is likely to be the rarer colour as Daytona has been available on damn-near the entire range for the best part of 10 years now!

My girlfriend was 100% sold on Manhattan when she saw it and there was a Daytona A3 right next to it :) Think I'm going to go with my gut (and hers) and stick with Manhattan Grey.

Deciding whether to get the Tech Pack and Virtual Cockpit is also proving to be a difficult decision :( Android Auto works quite well from the quite demo I had of it, but the standard 7" screen is quite low-res which annoys me.

Any idea when you'll be getting your S3 Saloon?

If you can afford TP and VC then do it, you're keeping it for 5 years, by which time it'll be far more mainstream, without it your car is going to look old to prospective buyers!

I've only played around with it for the last half a day, but it really is lovely to use.

I'm hoping to get a call today, assuming the Government have fixed the AFRL portal, fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed! Looking forward to seeing more photos of that paint colour :)

I'm not too worried about the car being unattractive to future buyers, but I am worried that it's going to feel old without VC since new cars are starting to come with it as standard, ie. B8 Passat. £1900 is a lot of cash when I have relied on Waze and a Kenu AirFrame for the last 18 months. My spec is already up to ~£34.3K

What's your full spec looking like so far? There's a lot of things on the options list that I'd take Tech Pack and Virtual Cockpit before considering.

Nice, that's got everything I'd spec when I was considering an A4, only I think I'd have gone for the 252PS Quattro!

Tell me that you're going through a broker or CarWow to get a quote, and not just the "Configurator"?

I drove one of those at an Audi Experience Day a few months ago and it was good fun! You could get the back-end out a bit which is something my S1 really doesn't like to do. I preferred the way the TTS drove to the RS3.

First thing I managed pulling out of the first junction yesterday was get the back end to step ever so slightly.

Wasn't expecting it to give the supposed front bias and all.

Thread title is becoming less relevant these days with the amount of PCP deals going on.

True, just be interesting to see the sort of split on a motors dedicated forum where we are "educated" in the means of "owning" a vehicle in the current market.

Not quite sure what that means.

Are you saying there's a right and a wrong answer?

Does it matter?

'Owned' and 'PCP' are different to 'leasing'. Or at least different enough in this context.

Doesn't really add anything to the conversation in this thread, imo.

No, but for the sake of argument I guess the thread title could be changed from "Owners" to "Drivers", as let's face it, drivers of (or even potential drivers of) can glean just as much information (or give just as much information) to this thread as anyone who outright "owns" their car.

FWIW mine S3 is on HP, I've got no issues admitting that.
