SQ7 has just switched back to petrol so who knows what might happen.
I got to try out an e-Tron this week fitted with the virtual door mirror option.

@naefeart nice motor . I’ve just picked up an RS4, best decision I’ve ever made. The V8 is exceptional, it’s so brutal, love it.
There’s only two things that need sorting on mine. The rear RS4 badge has faded in the sun, so need to get the red sorted again on it. The other thing is really just down to my car OCD, the previous owner has different tyres on the front and the rear. They’re all good brands but I prefer Michelin PS4’s, so will be wrapping the wheels in new rubber soon.
Couple of shots whilst I was out and about all morning.
Love the RS logo in the lights .
If I fit non Audi RO1 tyres in future, do I invalidate my Audi used approved warranty?
My car has OE Dunlops, which must be a good few years old now, as tyre material/tech goes. There is a MPS4S fitment, but it’s not marked RO1.
Normally I wouldn’t care, but I’ve just come from Porsche where ‘approved’ tyres do appear to matter and causes problems when renewing your warranty. I don’t think Audi are as strict, but I don’t want to give them any wiggle room.
What is the hard truth here?
Hmm, thanks for linking to that. I don’t see anything referring to my query either. I don’t really want to ask Audi, because I think they tell me to stick to the approved tyres.
Honestly I can’t imagine Audi requiring A0 tyres to keep the warranty intact. AFAIK Porsche are the only ones to mandate the tyre thing.Hmm, thanks for linking to that.
