Really enjoyed driving my 225 Quattro. Unfortunately the engine went pop, and that was the end of that.

It's still really a 2 seater if you've got two 6ft adults in the front. If you can put the passenger seat forward a bit, then you could fit two small passengers. It worked fine as a school run car for having one toddler (at school) and one baby that didn't need any leg room.

I'd spend my money on a Mk1 Quattro sport, those are only going up in value tbh and look great to boot.
They already have - 30+ grand over here. This market literally makes no sense.

Is it really a £8k car though? I really don't think it is, as nice as they are. That, and they're good cars, but I remember my S3 was never "fun". Fast & competent, but not much "fun"...
