Audigy 2 and Ext I/O Box

Hi

Can anyone tell me if the SB0280 Audigy 2 card would work with a SB0290 ext. I/O box?

I tried looking but I fail.

Im fairly certain it wont mate as the standard audigy 2 dosent have the correct interface port on the backplate to connect it to.

Yes but it does, it has both Ad_link1 and 2(firewire).

Ah, that card will be fine. Thats in fact not a standard audigy 2. Thats the card from the audigy2 platinum eX. The one pictured will be fine

Floppy power connector to the card was missing.
