Audigy 2 nx vista x64

Has anyone had any experience with this on vista x64? Due to having no spare pci slots I'm having to look at an external solution to provide surround sound (cmss-3d / EAX / etc) via headphones (this is for games playing only).


Any opinions/advice, much appreciated.

I think I've been exceptionally thick here, the sx38p2 does offer 7.1 channel DD sound, so I'm surmising I have the sound capability already. I just simply need the headphones that connects to the appropriate connections, whether the 3mm jacks or S/PDIFs?

(If so, what's the defacto set for surround sound gaming?)
