audigy 2 or not?

hi i have a p35 platinum using on board sound
but ive been given the afermentioned sound card
im using vista 64 bit
which will give best audio quality onboard or audigy ?
i listen tomusic and play some games like forged alliance, call of duty 4, crysis.

i am using Vista 64 on a P5B deluxe , was using the onboard sound but the Audigy 2 is far better , bit of a bitch to get working . Install drivers then Alchemy (which you have to pay <$10) . COD4 sounds good and works well.
