Audigy 2 Plat. EX direct S/PDIF not working

i formatted my windows drive and re-installed all my drivers and for some reason i have lost the ability to output direct via S/PDIF to my amp.

any ideas why this might have happened ive used the same drivers as before and the same dvd playing software? have i missed an option somewhere?

i can get 2.0 from the digital connection but i just cant get it to output in digital!

any advice/info would be appreciated!

GOD SEND!!! Cheers mate its been bugging me for AGES!!! can now enjoy 500W of surround sound from my pc again
