Audigy 2 ZS Breakout Box + Remote

Hoping someone may be able to help.

I cannot get my RM1500 remote to work with my breakout box.

I've tried a few CR2025 batteries to no avail. Re-installed drivers too!

Still no red 'IR' activity LED showing.

i'm pretty sure you need the nasty creative media source application installed to use the remote. the bare drivers aren't enough.

(i have the slightly different audigy2 platinum ex admittedly)

can you test the remote with something else to see if it's the remote at fault?

Have you actually installed the REMOTE CENTER?

He wont need it if he uses above APP I linked to.

Hold your Remote infont of a Camera LCD screen like on a Phone and press buttons, you should see if it works or now., also that APP will tell you by the Midi signal if it works.

Are you sure that Front Line Drive box is for an Audify 2 as the Remote is a new model and im pretty sure it wont work on it (not 100% though)

Also have you connected a Floppy Power connector to the Line drive box and the Ribbon Cable ?.
