Audigy SE vs On-board sound

Hi guys

I just built myself a new a Rig Q6600 on a Abit IP35-Pro, been reading the forums for a few weeks sorting my list out for new bits as we all do, heard the sound on the IP35-Pro is very good, after sorting through some boxes I came across a brand new (never used) Audigy SE can anyone tell me if this card is better than the Abit on-board sound http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=205&product=14257

Not an Abit here but big difference in sound from my onboard 965P-S3 Gigabyte, great card for the money.

Same here. Same mobo and everything.

Very big difference. Just shows how bad onboard audio is really.
