Abit IN9 32X AUDIO CONNECTORS

Hi, Just bought an Abit IN9 32X-Max mobo and have spent most of the night building it up, however there is only 1 internal audio connector. That's ok to plug my DVD reader into but where do I plug my re-writer into? I would much appreciate an answer so I can get up and running asp. Or dont I need it if I'm using the IDE cable with master and slave

Use neither.

Look in System Properties>Device Manager then double click your DVD>Properties. Find the 'Enable digital CD audio for this CD-ROM device' and tick it.
