Hey,

I have a live set which is too long to fit on a standard audio CD but the second half of it is much better than the first. Is it possible for me to cut the first half off so it will fit on with some freeware?

Audacity will do it.

Another recommendation for Audacity.

Simple to use and you can even add effects such as fade ins/outs if you want to cut a clip part-way through smoothly.
