For some reason, when this card is connected up through my surround with an optical cable, I get a small but noticeable delay. It is especially noticeable when playing CS:S, and when watching films.

Think there is any way to sort this out? Btw, it has to be connected up through optical, as the dvi-speaker output has gone missing, so I am only able to connect it up through optical.

I had to stop using my AC-1 when I upgraded to Vista years ago, as the driver's don't work properly.

If I'd have known Razor were going to stop supporting the card I would have thought twice about buying it.

Still using the HP-1 headset plugged into my motherboards 5.1 soundcard, even though the metal brackets have gone super fragile and all thats holding it together now is some tape :p

My AC-1 has sat in a box for years now , really think that its obsolete , I'd say the best bet is too seek a modern replacement if you have issues, as I doubt there's much that you can do to sort out any problems.

Darn, I was afraid of that. I have been using there 2.24 drivers for ages, with absolutely no joy. Changed the S/PDIF Output to DTS Interactive, as this gave the least noticeable delay, but it was still fairly bad.

Oh well, looks like I'm going to have to wait till pay day, then I can get myself maybe a low end Creative X-Fi or something. It's a shame really, because the sound quality that I get from the Barracuda is really good, albeit always a second too late haha.
