It seems whenever I open audio files, my mouse becomes unresponsive. I've checked task manager and the processes are fine, it's just the mouse pointer that becomes jittery. This happens when playing a file in something like Groove Music or Windows Media Player, but not from watching YouTube videos or playing a game.
Certain file types are worse than others. MP3's have an initial lag as the player starts up, while a WAV causes my mouse pointer to lag a little bit, and OGG causes massive mouse lag. (I've installed an ogg codec for WMP but the lag was happening before then)
I'm using a new PC, tried reinstalling Windows 3 times and have ensure I have Windows updates and drivers up-to-date. I've heard RealTek can cause issues with the mouse (I've no idea why this would be a conflict?) but I have tried ending the RealTek process and it's still not helped. Any ideas?
