Does anyone no if these will be good to fit ina car?
EDGE 12" Twin Active Subwoofer Enclosure
and
Edge ED209 6x9" Car Speakers
do you think that would be good tyo buy for a car?

Get what you pay for really. Cheap and cheerful... Don't expect the world from it!

Single JBL 12" sub, small 2 channel amp, Hertz Dieci front components would be where my money would be going on a budget.

in a word.. no. jbl probably are the best budget brand for car audio

also, why do you want 6x9's? to stick on the parcel shelf?

yeah to stick on parcel shelf unless u lot can spec me a budget sound system please? and i go look them up now?

having the majority of the soundstage at the back is not great for the listening experience. its much much better to have a good set of component speakers up front.

whats your budget and what sort of sound are you after? good quality with well produced vocals and an overall clean sound, or just dirty low bass that'll shake your interior to bits? iv done both and everything in between :D

well i have budget 200-300 , and ive been in car with 2 speakers on parcel shelf and i didnt think it was that bad, and i like clear vocals so it aint all blury and distorted but also a lot of bass :p

id aim for a some comps up front, "10 sub and a 4ch amp to run it from. saying that, are you going to need to buy cables? and can you diy a sub box? :D

Erm i cant diy i subbox so try find 1 with box butt if you can find 1 without box thats good then i no someone who could make 1 for me :)

also aint 12" sub better then 10"

also aint 12" sub better then 10"

Well that depends on what you're listening to. A 12" will move more air so if you're just going for hurr durr maximum bass then yes. But if it's dance music then a 10" will be fine. Also a ported or sealed box will make a difference. as well.

well 12" is bigger so offers more cone area, yes.. but to get lots of bass on a budget with less power you really need to go ported.. and those boxes take up much more space. you'd be surprised how loud you can actually get with small subs

ported means theres a vent in the box where as sealed is erm, sealed :D porting makes the box more efficient at the vents tuning hz but doesnt perform as well as a sealed box over a greater range of frequencies

edit: this box is ported (the 2 silver vents on top) it was a triple chamber design.. a sort of hybrid

and this was sealed. air doesnt escape from the box

for the music you mentioned i think ported will be better for you.

if this is your 1st car then i'd wait and see how happy you are with the standard setup (im also now wondering if you'd need a proper HU :p )

Car subwoofer

I found this subwoofer 2nd hand
2400watt
and
800 watt rms
will that be loud and there for sale for £70, if it is good to get and will give me loud base what watt amp will i need to buy if i wanna add 2 speakers aswell? the sub is a FLI SUB WOOFER SPEAKERS / TRAP 0012 and its a twin subwoofer

so anyhelp will be amazing

So basically 2 400W rms subs, FLI are kind of a budget range, not great but ok for a first time round installer. But if what they are going in is anything like the size of that Corsa you were looking at then it will be complete overkill, 1 sub will be more than enough for such a size car. When it comes to Audio, especially subs, it's not how many you can cram in that counts as 1 decent 10" sub will sound infinitely better than 2 cheap 10" subs.
