Audio goes out of sync on ANY video streamed or DVD (MSI Z370 Gaming Plus)

Hello,
Since I bought my new system MSI Z370 Gaming Plus, i7 8700, 16Gb G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3600. I've noticed the sound goes out of sync within seconds sometimes.

I've installed the latest drivers that I can find for the onboard (Realtek) and still no change. If I use my USB headphones the sound never goes out of sync but I don't want to have headphones on for hours.

I've done a google search and tried things from changing power saving settings, registry hack etc and nothing worked.

My sons system( my cast off) i7 4770k, MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming also Realtek sound has no issues.

Does anyone else have this issue? And is it best to buy an internal sound card just for Youtube, Netflix, Movies and Gaming?

No, games are fine.

The only things I installed from the motherboard dvd were the drivers. I didn't bother with any of the fluff.

One thing I had done on my previous system was to install a codec pack. I didn't do that on my new computer as it seemed to be working fine without.

Just updated to the 6.0.1.8279 driver and so far it seems to have solved my sync issues. Hope this helps someone else down the line
