Audio interface with decent DAC?

I am looking to get an audio interface for using with an XLR mic (not for anything fancy, just voice recordings and calls), and also drive a pair of Sennheiser HD 598 headphones (50 ohm) on the output. Does anyone know if something cheap like the Behringer UMC22 will be sufficient, or should I be looking at either something higher end or a dedicated DAC?

You could look at the EVO 4 USB Audio Interface, it's a bit more expensive than the Behringer UMC22, but it has a lot of features packed in there. I myself use the GOXLR and there's a mini version too, but those are both even more expensive than the EVO 4.

The Behringer UMC22 seems like a decent option for what you stated you want to do with it. Also it can run headphones upto around 250 - 300 Ohm mark give or take, & the more expensive stuff would give you more options down the road.
