yes i know it's silly to use a monitor for audio but it's temporary solution until i get my maintenance loan in September. anyway getting to the point, i recently had to remove my GPU because its faulty, thing is after i removed it (while switched off), the computer no longer detects my monitor as the audio output, just stating that it's 'not plugged in', even though it is, the monitor is connected via HDMI so audio be coming out
