Audio jack to bluetooth?

Is there a device that i could plug into an old stereo set that could then do bluetooth for me to listen to on bluetooth headphones?

So like, audio jack to bluetooth thing?

yes - just search for analogue to bluetooth

You need to search for 'analogue to Bluetooth transmitter'. 'Analogue to Bluetooth', will bring up the more common receiver type, that takes a Bluetooth signal and output analogue for a speaker system. You need the transmitter type that takes in an analogue signal and outputs Bluetooth.

Surely that would be "bluetooth to analogue" wouldn't it? My original search brought up transmitters in the top results.

That is true, but this is a search engine we are talking about. Better to be more specific. Google just searches for the words. Top link I got was a receiver.

Thanks guys! Do you reckon it would matter too much the version of bluetooth it is? I.e bluetooth 2?
